More than just dog care!
Are you going on vacation or have to leave urgently and unfortunately can't take your dog with you?
Then you've come to the right place!
Entrusting your dog to a stranger isn't always easy. With me, you'll gain expertise from my profession, providing meaningful daily interaction, along with a friendly environment where your dog will feel truly comfortable.
How does your dog live with me during his stay?
My guest dogs live with me, my husband, my two dogs, and two cats, fully involved in family life. As long as your dog has a normal but not excessive hunting instinct, it won't be a problem to integrate him. We live in a rural house with a huge property. There are several large fenced-in areas where the dogs can play extensively, including swimming lakes.
Your dog also sleeps with us in the house. Due to the high level of integrity in our lives, a maximum of two guest dogs live with us at any one time.
This way, you can be sure that your dog will receive my full attention. Of course, he'll also have his own place to retreat and calm down.
How does a day usually go?
On an average day, we all go for a long walk together in the morning (about an hour). I like to use this walk to practice basic commands, play search games, or do other activities. After that, we have breakfast, and then the dogs rest for about 2-3 hours. Around lunchtime, we all go out together and can run around a lot for a few hours. Depending on which care package you have chosen (see below), I will train your dog in various things. There will be mental and physical exercise, and we will work on any problems you may have. Then, from 5 p.m., we rest for a while before going for another long walk in the evening (about an hour), followed by dinner.
Your dog may also accompany me, depending on what's on my agenda. To town, to friends, to the beach, to dog training, etc. We'll talk in detail about your dog beforehand to ensure only positive experiences. Feeding times can, of course, be customized.
You'll receive daily updates and pictures of your four-legged friend, and you can also follow everything closely on Instagram.
Care packages:
Package 1: Minimal training effort. Your dog is very well-behaved or, for example, a bit older and very calm. Accordingly, he requires little training. €30 per day.
Package 2: Normal training effort. Your dog doesn't have major behavioral problems, doesn't listen perfectly, but knows how to behave reasonably well. €40 per day.
Package 3: Intensive training effort. Your dog has a problem that I need to work on specifically. €65 per day.
Unfortunately, due to the family-like nature of the dogs I live with, I'm currently unable to accommodate highly aggressive dogs.
In the future, we're planning to build a facility on the property with individual kennels, where these dogs, as well as those with extreme hunting instincts, will be welcome.
